City cultural council announces grants for new programs


The Attleboro Cultural Council has announced the award of 31 grants totaling $17,500 for cultural programs in Attleboro.

Massachusetts Cultural Council honors city's Big Read program



Organizers of last year's 1 Adventure, 1 Book, 1 Community Big Read program were honored by the city Tuesday.

The kudos came in the wake of an award from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which gave the group its Gold Star designation for excellence in the promotion of community arts and culture.

Attleboro's Big Read just golden


ATTLEBORO - The Attleboro Cultural Council has announced that Attleboro's 1 Adventure 1 Book 1 Community reading project received a Massachusetts Cultural Council Gold Star Award for excellence in community arts and culture.

The award was announced at the Massachusetts Cultural Council's Statewide Assembly held at the Statehouse in Boston earlier this month.
